Who I Am
I have a background of working in scientific research - carcinogens was the field, little did I know what the future would hold at that time. Then when I had a young family I worked in a Pharmacy to earn a few extra pounds and keep my hand in - so to speak. My boss gave me an opportunity to study and become a qualified pharmacist but I had seen and experienced the amazing effects of complimentary therapies and opted to develop down this route. Initially I qualified in 2002 in A&P and Indian Head Massage, delighted with the effects of the treatment I further trained in more detailed A&P and Body Massage. I then decided to develop my skills and trained in Aromatherapy. I began to work within the NHS alongside cancer patients as well as working in Grayshott Hall Health Spa so I felt I had a good balance. Seeing the suffering of some of my hospital patients I was inspired to study Hypnotherapy - I thought to help with pain relief, this has led into a whole new field of hands off therapy... Then again, as life progresses so do we and I further trained in a dance and movement therapy called Healthy Steps - The Lebed Method which helps people with lymphedema, arthritis, ME, restricted movement as well as other chronic conditions.
